Krescent Adventures Safaris ("we", "us") is a Kenyan tours and travel business. This policy explains what personal information we collect through krescentadventures.com, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We aim to comply with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
When you send us a trip inquiry — through the inquiry form, WhatsApp, email or phone — we receive the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number, nationality or residency, travel dates, party size, preferred destinations, budget range, accommodation preference and any message you write.
We do not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies on this website, and we do not collect payment details through it.
How your information is used
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations and plan your trip.
- To communicate with you about a trip you have asked about or booked.
- With your consent, to email you occasional travel offers and safari updates (see "Marketing emails" below).
We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in — for example by ticking the offers checkbox on our inquiry form. Sending you a trip inquiry does not by itself add you to our mailing list.
You can opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or write to info@krescentadventures.com. Opting out does not affect any trip we are planning or have booked for you.
Where it is stored
- WhatsApp — if you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation is held in our WhatsApp business account (WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms).
- Email — inquiries sent or copied to info@krescentadventures.com are stored in our business mailbox.
- Form delivery — when you submit the inquiry form, a copy of your details is delivered to our mailbox via FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-forwarding service, which processes the submission in order to deliver it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking correspondence for as long as it is needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act you may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do so, write to info@krescentadventures.com or message us on WhatsApp at +254 759 115 883. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date above.
